WYFS
WYFS provides support and therapy for individuals, families, and couples in a warm, welcoming, judgment-free zone. Our counselors help strengthen family functioning, and support children and families working through life’s challenges, including stress, peer pressure, divorce, emotional and behavioral issues, anxiety, grief, substance abuse, depression, anger management, chronic illness or disabilities, trauma, and life transitions.
We offer services at the agency and in all Westbrook’s public schools.
Individual, Couple and Family Therapy
Our staff includes licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, licensed Clinical Social Workers, masters level Marriage & Family Therapists and graduate level Marriage and Family interns supervised by licensed clinicians. We offer counseling services to residents of Westbrook and we also welcome residents of other towns.
Services are offered on a sliding scale basis. No one is turned away based on ability to pay. Some insurances are also accepted.
Please call or email Director Sara Zaientz at 860-399-9239 x111 to set up an appointment.
WYFS @ Westbrook Public Schools
WYFS staff and interns serve in all of Westbrook Public Schools, supporting students by offering individual, group and family counseling. Clinicians help children manage stress, build life skills, deal with peer issues and succeed in the school environment.
Services offered in the Westbrook Public Schools are free of charge.
Clinical Intake Forms
Your therapist will go over all the necessary paperwork at your first session. However, if you would like, you may print, review, and complete the necessary forms in advance and bring them to your first meeting. These forms can be found on our Forms page.
If you feel more comfortable with a form translated into a different language, please let us know so we can provide you with one.
